Happy New Year Everyone!

After a couple of years of accidents, injuries and poor mental health, this year will be a focus on my physical and psychological well-being. Gone are the days of silly diets and mad resolutions. This time it will be a year of trying to look after my body as carefully as possible. I will probably still binge-eat in times of stress, find myself growing roots on the sofa and dip in and out of Netflix. However I will live each day as if it was the first. There will be no guilt foisted on me either, no retributions, no pack-drill. It is the year to celebrate successes rather than focus on the failures. A nightmare walk up what seemed a never-ending steep slope to the fort in Prats de Molló has shown me that there is much, much, much progress to be made. LOL So roll on 2024. Let’s see how far I can go!

As the year nears its end, I find myself wondering about the sanity of starting a blog. Should we try…
