Septfonds has a fascinating industrial past, once being a centre of a bustling straw hat industry. Now all these wonderful buildings are occupied, families living in the vintage interiors. Walking around the village, I thought you might like to see a bit of the unique industrial French architecture. Our Samoyed’s favourite human is a lady who still lives in the village, having spent over 40 years of her life working in one of the many factories which use to be dotted around the village.
