“If we had to say what writing is,

we would have to define it essentially as an act of courage.”

Cynthia Ozic

Oh My godness! Did I really do that? Did I really manage to publish a book?

I first published this book under a pseudonym in 2018, but I lacked so much confidence that I took it almost immediately off the shelves. Five years later, in the throes of a midlife crisis, I suddenly realised I shouldn’t care about what people think, but just crack on and do the things I have always wanted to do. And so I am.

It might not be perfect, it might not rock everyone’s boat, but it is mine. If you do ever buy it, can I say a big “thank you” now. And if you liked it, please share and leave a review!

“Courage doesn’t always roar.

Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day

that says I’ll try again tomorrow.”

  • “They always say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”

As the year nears its end, I find myself wondering about the sanity of starting a blog. Should we try…
